To mark its 30th anniversary, the Lions Club Genève-Lac organised a fund-raising dinner to support the humanitarian work of Khadija Al-Salami. This dinner was attended by more than 170 of the Club’s members and friends.
Following the opening presentation of her film: “Me, Nojoom, 10 years old and divorced”, this event raised sufficient funds to send 75 young Yemeni girls to school for 12 years.
An extraordinary success worthy of the tremendous emotion stirred up by this cause defended by Mrs Al Salami.
